Thinking about exhibiting at a show?

Paul • Feb 28, 2019

remember these golden rules...

What’s the point?
It sounds obvious, but what do you want to gain from the show? See existing clients, source potentially new clients, launch a new product (you get the idea)

Shout about it!
Make sure potential (and existing) clients are aware you're exhibiting. Social media, emails, your website and printed literature can relay this information effectively and virtually free. Try to include a 'call to action' to encourage them to come and see you

Look the part
The biggest expenditure is likely to be floor space (or field space), make sure your stand is visually enticing and well thought out. Is there somewhere to meet-and-greet, make sure there's space to move around and are your staff easily identifiable?

Pre-book appointments and track visitors
This can make your clients feel special and valued and is easy to accomplish. Keep a detailed record of all visitors, everyone is a potential advocate for your business

Follow-up
This is crucial, don't leave it too long after the event or a competitor might beat you to it. Plan a structured strategy, this could begin with a simple thank you e-mail or re-sending your marketing literature

...Zest Print can help you

We are an easy bunch to deal with, we won't use print related jargon that most people don't understand (unless you want us to) and we never have any hidden costs

If you need us to create the design or work up your own ideas, that's not a problem, we can get this straight in to our studio. If you are able to supply print-ready files that's great, the best way to get these to us is to use one of the many free upload/download online facilities

Marketing materials
From your business cards to leaflets, brochures and folders, we can supply all the necessary marketing print to make your show a great success (don't forget the enquiry pads)

Promotional products
Make the giveaways relevant to the show, from pens, sweets, mugs, hats and USB's we have a huge range of gifts that will ensure you are remembered long after the exhibition has finished. Think about providing your literature/promotional items in a bag, they are more likely to be picked up if easy to carry (we do environmentally friendly bags too!)

Exhibition graphics
You might only have 5 seconds to capture their attention, make sure you use eye-catching graphics with short strap-lines. From a pull-up roller banner or hop-up exhibition stand we can supply stunning and vibrant display materials that are easy to transport and erect on the stand

Direct mailings
Following up after the exhibition? We can design and produce mailers tailored to the person receiving it, and can even post them out saving you time and money on staff resources and mailing costs
